Recreation Soccer
AC Sandhills invites you to join our Recreation Soccer Program. Recreation means that this program is for every age and level of player, from beginner to experienced, to come play Soccer here in the Sandhills. Our program is all about learning the game, developing skills, and having fun. We have a place for any player between the ages of 2 and 18. The Recreation Soccer Program is held twice a year, during the spring from February to May and the fall from August to October.
**Schedules and dates are subject to change based on guidelines set by our state and local governments.

U7 AND OLDER - REC LEAGUE
2026 FALL Recreation Soccer League
Dates: Games Start on Saturday, September 12th!
Location
All games for U7 through the High School Divisions will be held on Saturdays at the Morganton Sports Complex located at 100 Fire Lane in Southern Pines.
Practices will be at Morganton Road in addition to other area fields as in Aberdeen and Pinehurst as needed.
U7 / U8 Divisions
- Minimum of 7 Game Days
- 9 Practice Weeks; Practice 1 hour/one night a week
- Referee for every game
- Rec Tournament (Spring Only)
- $100 for U7/U8
U9 to High School Divisions
- U9, U10, U12, U15 Teams & High School
- Minimum of 7 Game Days
- 9 Practice Weeks; Practice 1 hour/two nights a week
- Referee for every game
- Rec Tournament (Spring Only)
- $105 for U9/U10
- $110 for U11-U15
- $100 for High School


Jersey/Uniform
AC Sandhills provides 2 Jerseys for all
recreation players.
1 White (Home) Jersey / 1 Orange (Away) Jersey
Fall jerseys will be used for the spring season, and players new in the spring will receive jerseys.
Recommended Uniform:
1 Soccer Shorts - Black
1 Pair Soccer Socks - Black
1 Pair of Shin Guards (required)
(Socks must cover shin guards completely)
1 Pair of Soccer Cleats (No metal studs allowed)


Age Verification
This can be a birth certificate or other legal document. Proof can be uploaded to TeamSnap when registering or presented to ACS Staff. You may also submit a birth certificate to info@acsandhills.com. If the players's age was verified in a past season, please contact ACS to confirm.
ACS REFUND POLICY
A full registration refund or credit will be issued if requested at least 10 days prior to the start of the first practice, minus a $15 administrative fee. After the season has started, a credit or refund may be considered by the Director of Soccer on a case-by-case basis, minus the $15 administrative fee.

U5/U6 Future Stars
Future Stars is a program for U6 players as part of the AC Sandhills recreation soccer program, the focus is on player development and creating a fun environment for players to experience the game of soccer.
Players will work on
- Agility
- Running
- Jumping
- Ball Control
- Kicking
Future Stars will run, jump, turn, and kick their way through a fun program designed to teach players all the fundamental tools they need to one day be a star player.
60 min Sessions on Friday or Saturday
Soccer balls and equipment will be provided and set up by an ACS Staff Coach.
What to Bring
Players should wear athletic shoes and clothes, cleats not required, but all players need to wear shin guards. Also make sure to bring lots of water to stay hydrated.

U3/U4 Mini Kickers
U3/U4 Mini Kickers is a program for AC Sandhills youngest recreation players. The program is designed to prepare players to progress to the U5/U6 Future Stars and teaches the key building blocks of soccer.
Players will work on:
- Dribbling with the ball & Changing Directions
- Stopping the ball
- Kicking the ball
Because agility, balance and quickness are key aspects of soccer, the Mini Kickers program also introduces players to basic agility like jumping, running sideways, backwards, and balance on one foot. Most of all players have fun in this stress-free sports environment.
Soccer balls and equipment is provided and set up by ACS Staff Coach.
Players should wear athletic shoes and clothes, cleats and shin guards not required.
Also make sure to bring lots of water to stay hydrated.
All participants will receive a Mini-Kickers T-Shirt
