DESCRIPTION: The Fall In-House Recreation Lacrosse Program is a small-sided, in-house league for girls in grades 1st – 12th. Players of all experience levels are welcome! US Lacrosse Membership REQUIRED for coaches and players for insurance purposes (must purchase through US Lacrosse, $30 for 8th graders and below). This program is being offered so new and experienced lacrosse players have the opportunity to develop and practice fundamental skills (ground balls, throwing, catching, shooting) and participate in small-sided games. Players will participate in skills training AND play in small-sided games on the same night. The first half of the session will involve stick work and skill development followed by small-sided games on a modified game-field. Games are 32-minutes long (i.e. four 8-minute quarters).
WE REQUIRE A US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP FOR ALL AC SANDHILLS LACROSSE PLAYERS AND COACHES: Visit www.uslacrosse.org to register your PLAYER for a US Lacrosse Membership. Be sure to SAVE their US Lacrosse # which will be sent to you via email. We require this membership for insurance purposes - membership is good for 1 entire year. The cost for a US Lacrosse Membership for players is about $30 for players and $55 for coaches (we cover coach memberships)
