Coach Kaylynn
Coach Kaylynn has been coaching with AC Sandhills for four years. Kaylynn is a student at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke working towards a degree in (insert degree). Outside of coaching, she enjoys spending days at the lake and beach, riding four wheelers, and planting flowers! Here's what Coach Kaylynn has to say about the upcoming 2027 travel season.
"I’m excited for another season at AC Sandhills! I coach because I love watching athletes grow, both as players and as people. One of my favorite moments is seeing the look on an athlete’s face when something finally clicks after working so hard for it. It’s even more rewarding to watch their confidence grow throughout a season and from year to year. I had one player who improved tremendously over the course of a year, and seeing how excited she was to share that with me reminded me why I coach. I also enjoy helping athletes grow into confident leaders on and off the court. Most importantly, I want to be the kind of coach I wish I had in high school and give my players the same positive, supportive, and fun club experience that made such a difference in my own life.
Of the four ACS pillars, leadership is the most important pillar to me because I enjoy watching athletes grow into confident leaders. I want every player to understand that leadership isn’t about being the loudest person on the team—it’s about leading by example, encouraging others, and being someone their teammates can rely on. I look forward to helping each player grow in confidence and skill!"
