ACS Lakers Youth Triathlon Club
Ages 7-15 (turn 7 before December 31, 2020)
ACS Lakers Youth Triathlon Club was started to benefit the young people of our community by training competitive athletes as well as those who just want to learn how to swim, run or ride a bike well. Training is activity-based (fun) and is designed to teach the athletes how to participate in a multi-sport event. - Experience is not required.
Training
Training will be primarily conducted in Seven Lakes North and West. Both are set up as safe and effective training environments.
The multi-sport of Triathlon offers many unique opportunities, including:
1. The development of a lifetime sport
2. The chance for amateurs (age groupers) to compete with pros
3. The opportunity to learn to make healthy choices by just being involved
4. The opportunity to participate in an Olympic sport with clubs around the globe and on most college campuses
It’s also a great way to meet new friends.
Membership
Annual Membership runs from April to September, and the $60 cost includes a T-shirt. Additional training opportunities will be offered for those interested in being more competitive. ACS will host two local triathlons, one in June and a second in September. We also plan a few single-sport events.

Youth Triathlon Club just finished their 9th season, competing & hosting races each year. We had two very successful triathlons again this year, seeing many new faces racing for the first time. Congrats to all the triathletes who participated in this year’s events, and a huge thank you for all our volunteers, including the entire Pinecrest Girls Volleyball Program!!
We hope to see everyone out again next spring.
